Misao and Fukumaru.  “We will never be apart.”

12 years ago, Japanese photographer, Miyoko Ihara (伊原 美代子) started to take photographs of her grandmother, Misao. Born in 1981 in Chiba (Japan), Miyoko Ihara has studied under Kenji Higuchi (樋口健二), after graduating from the Press Photography Course at the Nippon Photography Institute in 2002. Miyoko is also a member of The Photographic Society of Japan.”

“Under the sun, everyday is a good day. Another good day, Fukumaru”, Misao. Eight years ago, Misao found a odd-eyed kitten in the shed. She named the cat “Fukumaru” in hope that “God of fuku” (good fortune) comes and everything will be smoothed like a “maru” (circle)”.

“We’ll never be apart!”, says Misao to Fukumaru. Both of them live in a tiny world, with dignity, with mutual love. Still today, under the blue sky, Misao and Fukumaro work in the fields and in these natural surroundings, where they shine like the stars.”

Twin Cats Always Mirror Each Other in Sleep

Scientists are baffled by twin cats, Merry and Pippin, who reportedly always sleep in an exact mirror image of one another.

“Even if we place them in disparate starting positions or in separate rooms, they somehow always wind up sleeping exactly like the other,” said leading cat biologist and feline sleep expert Dr. Tobias Winslow.  ”I’ve never seen anything like it.”

A polysomnogram revealed nothing out of the ordinary about the cats’ brain functions, eye movements, muscle activity, breathing or heart rhythms.  ”We had expected to find that Merry and Pip were synched up on an internal level,” explained Winslow, “but it is literally just in the way they position their bodies for slumber.”

More tests will be done later this month during a scheduled comprehensive sleep study.

This is Shawn and Gus! Two handsome brothers looking for a home in Massachusetts!

Shawn and Gus’s original owners sadly had to move to a residence that does not allow pets. I am housing Shawn and Gus until I can find them a loving home. It will be very difficult parting with them as they are complete snuggle-bug purring machines!

Shawn and Gus are 9 years old and in excellent health (albeit a little on the stocky side). Wonderfully socialized and litter-trained, of course!

They are strictly indoor cats and cannot be let outdoors!

They are handsome, polite, friendly wonderful cutie pies and they deserve a good home.

Despite being Siamese, they don’t have the typical deep Siamese meow, they have very tiny adorable meows! It makes me laugh every time.

Siamese are a breed known for longevity and deep intelligence, almost dog-like in their friendliness and loyalty. These guys are certainly all that!

If you live within driving distance of Plymouth Massachusetts and may be interested in BOTH brothers, please send an email to Nancy@Acornway.com

I must stress that whatever home they go to must never declaw them, never let them outdoors, and that they be returned to me if for ANY reason you cannot keep them, no questions asked!

Thank you so much for reading/signal boosting! :)

These two beautiful babies are my cat Maui’s sons. Do you live in New England and want the fruit of Maui’s loins? Give ‘em a home!
